Which airport in Iceland do I need to book a flight to?

You will need to book a flight to KEFLAVIK AIRPORT (KEF),  Reykavik’s main international airport situated 50km southwest of the capital.

Many of our clients contact Kimberley Harris from The Flight Centre in Brighton for assistance with booking flights to Keflavik Airport (Kimberley is very familiar with our holidays and the needs of our guests and can help you find the most convenient flights). If you would like to contact Kimberley, her details are: Kimberley Harris, Account Manager, Flight Centre Business Travel, Hove. Telephone :01273 776 143  email: kimberley.harris@flightcentre.co.uk

Cheap flights to Keflavik Airport depart from Heathrow, Luton and Gatwick airports and some regional airports in the UK.

What flight times should I book to coincide with your transfers in Iceland?

Our transfer pick up and drop off points are Keflavik Airport and Reykavik City for this tour.

We have 2 return transfer times – the first will be very early in the morning to coincide with flights departing from Keflavik Airport from 11am onwards. The other will be later to coincide with afternoon and early evening flights from Keflavik Airport. This second transfer will also go via REYKJAVIK CITY ( en-route to Keflavik airport) for people wishing to extend their stay in Iceland. Visit the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing few hours

If you arrive at Keflavik Airport with hours to spare before or after our transfer, we suggest a visit to the blue lagoon (23km away and 20 mins in a taxi from the airport). Visit www.bluelagoon.com for prices and to make a booking. We recommend the restaurant at the Blue Lagoon – it really is worth a visit.

Visit Reykjavik for the day

Please let us know if you are interested in starting your transfer from Reykjavik. We shall organise a minibus to take our guests from the airport to Reykjavik if we have a sufficient number of clients interested in visiting the city (reasonably priced).

Extend your holiday in Reykjavik before or after the tour

Please visit www.kefairport.is/english/ for information about transfers to Reykjavik from Keflavik Airport.

As mentioned above, we think a visit to the http://www.bluelagoon.com is really worthwhile.blue lagoon The Blue Lagoon is only 20 minutes away from the airport by road and taxis are available in front of the airport terminal in connection with all incoming flights. If you want to visit the Blue Lagoon from Reykjavik, your hotel reception staff can help with private transfers.
