Our beautiful guest lodge accommodation is a restored building from the late nineteenth century. It has stylish, contemporary accommodation and it features free Wi-Fi in all areas and a computer with Internet access. This is a good, cheaper option if you want to avoid the higher costs of a single supplement at our 4**** hotel and are happy to prepare your own breakfast in the guest kitchen.
It is located in Ponta Delgada, five minutes walk from it’s historical centre. The traditional shops, restaurants and cafes, marina are within walking distance. The airport is only a five minute drive away.
All rooms have modern and comfortable decor filled with natural light. Some rooms have balconies to allow you to step outside and enjoy the views. Each room has a private bathroom with shower. For additional comfort the rooms are heated during the winter period.
Breakfast is not provided – there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area on the ground floor that is shared with other guests. Designated space is also allocated for you in the kitchen area and fridge for your items. You can purchase breakfast items from the nearby bakery and shops and use the fully equipped guest kitchen to make breakfast. Next to the kitchen you will find a large dining room and living area equipped with a TV and computer with free internet access.
Outside you can relax on the terrace and take a swim in the outdoor guest swimming pool.
As the town of Ponta Delgada is near the airport planes can be heard from the guest house. This is only during the day and not at night. There are around 24 planes a day. If you are someone who likes to sleep in the day this could be disturbing but as the noise passes in seconds it is something that the majority of guests are happy with.
Our guest lodge accommodation is an excellent choice if you are looking for a quiet space, with excellent service – a true refuge within the city of Ponta Delgada.

“Re my accommodation loved it. It was perfect especially as we could cook as eating out was expensive and Miguel, what a host. I’m already recommending the Azores to friends and hopefully I’ll be back next year”
